~[GODLY] AMBITION~

My mother is a woman of faith. Despite circumstances, she had to look to the future for the better. Jamaican-born and raised, my mother ventured outside of her comfort zone, seeking a better life for her family, leaving my siblings and father in Jamaica. Roles between her and my father became reversed, and she soon became the breadwinner for the family. Often sending back goods and money to my siblings and father. Talk about a FAITH MOVE!

When my mother finally settled, my family began transitioning to meet her in America. I was their first born American child. I grew up following in some of her ways learning to help those in need wherever I went. I watched the grace of God cover this woman and our family in everything we endured. There was always just enough food, or bills wound up getting paid because God always provides, and let’s not forget the fire of 2002 (I’ll leave that for another day) but she taught me the power of speaking a thing by FAITH. Though she left her cultural roots, her Kingdom roots for the love of God was deeply rooted in her. Whatever she believes God for, He continues to provide. She’s held to her beliefs in the midst of adversity. For when she was weak she knew her God was stronger.

~LOVE [LETTER]~

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. -Proverbs 22:6 KJV

~INTENTIONAL [LIVING]~

Though she departed and went her ways, my mother was always a child of the King, true royalty. And because of this, because of His love, God covered her.

~FAITH MOVES~

I want you to begin to see yourself the way God sees you, heck that’s part of the prayer I say for myself. Often times we can get bogged down by the world and begin to agree with what people or society has said about us. It is my prayer that you see God for who He truly is.

So from this day forward I want you to be intentional about who you are and your life! No longer will you get your identity from the world. Trust God for what He says about you!

Walk in your true identity as a coheir to Christ and I promise you, your life will never be the same.

” You will know your true self, when you truly know God.”

-Alicia Graham

Let’s make a sincere effort to cultivate our relationship with God and embrace His Divine Love.
